It is my greatest pleasure to warmly welcome you to the official website of the Nigerian Branch of the International Law Association (ILA Nigeria). We are a learned society dedicated to the study, clarification and development of International Law and the advancement of peace, equity, and justice worldwide.
Since 2014, ILA Nigeria has provided the leading platform and intellectual space for Nigerian scholars and practitioners to unearth, analyze and resolve important questions in public and private international law, international diplomacy, and global governance. The ILA has consultative status as an international non-government organization with a number of the United Nations specialized agencies.
Through research, publications, capacity development and public dialogue, our aspiration is to build on the successes of previous years, to steadily elevate the Branch to its desired next level.
We welcome everyone interested in international law to join us in this important task of promoting Nigeria’s international law and diplomacy expertise to the rest of the world.
